A+ DJs is owned by high school teacher, Cedric Hickerson, who has been a DJ since he was 12 years old. While attending college at Johnson & Wales in Providence, RI he was hired by one of the leading DJ companies in New England. This company gave him the opportunity to apprentice under some of the best DJs while entertaining events from Boston to New York.

After graduating college, Hickerson worked for some companies in the tri-state area but quickly realized that he had received superior training and developed unrivaled skills as a special event entertainer and started his own business.
